Sundays after worship in the Fireside Room

If you've ever tried to put a puzzle together, you know it's almost impossible to do without seeing the big picture on the box. The Bilble is similar. We often read it by looking only at the individual pieces, but then struggle to put them together. This series helps us see the big picture of the Bible.

Church in the World is a six-week course by Pastor Kory that looks to the Bible, church history and theology to show us who the Church is and how God has called us to relate to the world around us. Church in the encourages believers to embrace our identity as the people of God, reject the culture wars and work for the good of the world in the way Jesus calls us to.

Learn to take a break from all the noise with The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry, a fascinating roadmap to staying emotionally healthy and spiritually alive in the chaos of the modern world. Contact the Plunketts for more information or to get their address.

Tuesdays at 6 pm in the Fireside Room

Book Study facilitated by Kari Britten

Drawing from twenty-five years of counseling boys and working with parents, David Thomas sheds light on common emotional struggles, including anger, anxiety, and depression. Helpful for parents, grandparents, teachers, and anyone else who has a boy in their life, this book shows how a strong emotional foundation leads to a Christ-like sense of masculinity that will serve him well his whole life.

Marriage
Workshop

Tuesdays at 6 pm in the Sanctuary

Facilitated by Bryon and Shelley Tang

Each session will begin by introducing a topic, then couples will have time to discuss that topic one-on-one. Topics include: encounter with self, the state of marriage in the modern world, subjects for understanding, Parable of the Sower, Sexuality, and Forgiveness.
